We seek to be a beacon of love, compassion, and justice radiating God’s grace to all.

Social Justice & Advocacy

At EPUMC, we believe that faith without action isn't enough. Following the example of Jesus, we serve with advocacy, activism, and allyship to dismantle systems of oppression, foster inclusive communities, and stand firmly with our neighbors.

🌈 Radical Inclusivity & LGBTQIA+ Allyship

As a proud, official Reconciling Congregation, we don't just welcome our LGBTQIA+ siblings—we celebrate, affirm, and protect them. We actively work to create safe spaces where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, experiences the boundless embrace of God's love.

Pride Festival Presence

Look for us out in the community! We show up, march, and sponsor booths annually to celebrate love and identity at:

  • Twin Cities Pride
  • Eden Prairie Pride
  • Pride in Carver County

The PROP Garden

Growing fresh, organic produce on our church grounds specifically to donate to PROP, our local food shelf.

Overcoming Food Insecurity

We translate our prayers into action right here in Eden Prairie and across the Twin Cities. Through hands-on ministries, we directly confront systemic hunger:

Every Meal

Partnering to ensure local school children have food gaps filled over weekends.

Simpson Shelter & FMSC

Showing up with our hands and feet to feed and shelter our unhoused and vulnerable neighbors.

Social Justice Library

Located right inside our building, this curated collection of books and resources is open to all. It features essential works on racial equity, LGBTQIA+ histories, disability justice, environmental protection, and peace-building—serving as a educational tool to equip our members for the work of advocacy.

Casual Dialogue: DnD

Justice work requires deep conversation. Once a month, we gather at a local brewery for Drinks and Discussion to tackle tough topics, current events, and faith through an open, inclusive, and justice-minded lens. All viewpoints and hard questions are welcome.
