EQUIPPING PARENTS

Kids, Youth & Family Ministries

Children aren't just "the future of the church"—they are a valuable part of our church family right now. We partner with parents to cultivate a loving, progressive, and inclusive faith. Here, kids are encouraged to ask tough questions, build empathy, and explore their relationship with a loving God.

A Community for All Abilities

We seek to be a community for children of all abilities. If your child is neurodivergent, has sensory sensitivities, or faces physical limitations, they are entirely welcome here. Our staff works closely with parents to ensure every child has the accommodations, understanding, and support they need to thrive.

Where kids can bring their big questions, their loud joy, and their authentic selves.

Regular mid-week & Sunday events

Too shy for Sunday School? Or just not feeling it today?

We have dedicated Activity Tables placed right at the front of the sanctuary. It is a warm, safe space for kids to color, play with quiet toys, and participate in worship in their own way. Parents, please relax—do not worry about the noise. Kids are a living part of our family, and their giggles, whispers, and rustling are a welcome song in our sanctuary.

Equipping Parents

Raising children with a progressive faith in today's world can feel like swimming upstream. You don't have to do it alone. Beyond Sunday mornings, we provide resources, family, and intergenerational events (like our monthly Connections dinners) to build a supportive village around your family.

JAM Band

Music is a powerful way to express faith and process the world. Our Joy And Music Band is our dedicated youth music ministry for students in grades 6–12. Whether they play guitar, drums, piano, bass, or love to sing, there is a place for them to plug in and lead.
