Ministries at EPUMC
At Eden Prairie United Methodist Church, we believe faith is a journey meant to be lived out loud. Our ministries offer two vital pathways for spiritual transformation: Inward Ministries, which nurture our inner spirits and bind us together in community, and Outward Ministries, which send us into the world to love our neighbors through action.
GROWING INTENTIONALLY
Inward Ministries
Our Purpose: To spiritually grow our members and constituents through worship, learning, and connections. We produce transformative opportunities to make disciples of Jesus for the transformation of the world.

Fellowship & Wellness
We are proud to open our church doors as a hosting site for PFLAG, partnering to provide support, education, and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ individuals, their families, and allies in our community.

GEMS (God's Exceptional Methodist Seniors): Fellowship, social outings, and service actions for our seniors.
-
Connections: Monthly gatherings that combine a shared family dinner with a fun collaborative activity.
-
Chair Yoga: Gentle physical stretches and mental centering. Meets Sundays after our service.

Handbell Choir: Adding layered patterns of beautiful melodic handbell work during special seasonal services.
-
JAM Band (Joy and Music): Our rockin' dedicated band program for students in grades 6th through 12th.
Serving Our Neighbors
Outward Ministries:
Our Purpose: To spiritually grow our members through hands-on ministries and missions. We create allyship projects and invitations, serving with advocacy and activism for justice. Through our work, we focus on overcoming food insecurity, fostering inclusive communities, equipping parents, cultivating a relevant and growing faith, and building connections—producing opportunities for people to grow in love with God and neighbor.
Food Security & Basic Needs
The PROP Garden
Faith in the soil. Our dedicated church garden grows fresh, organic crops specifically to donate to PROP, our local Eden Prairie food shelf.
Every Meal
We partner with this organization to fight child hunger by supporting the school backpack program, ensuring local students have nutritious food for the weekends.
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)
We organize intergenerational packing sessions, hand-packing scientifically formulated meals for children facing malnutrition globally.
Simpson Shelter
Living out our call to radical hospitality, we volunteer to serve meals and support shelter operations for our neighbors experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities.
Outreach Connection
Southwest Grief Coalition
You do not have to walk through loss alone. We partner with a coalition of local churches to provide a safe, compassionate space for grief support, offering resources and a community of understanding.
Drinks & Discussion (DnD)
Faith conversations in a casual setting. We meet monthly at a local brewery to talk about life, faith, and current events over a beverage. All questions and viewpoints are welcome!
